Union Springs Telephone Company & Com-Link, Inc. Extend ...

Union Springs Telephone Company (USTC) and its subsidiary Com-Link, Inc. once again extended a partnership for managed broadband services that has already spanned 14 years.

ZCorum recently extended a partnership for managed broadband services with Union Springs Telephone Company and Com-Link, Inc. in Union Springs, Alabama.

Union Springs Telephone Company (USTC) and its subsidiary Com-Link, Inc. deliver phone, television, VoIP, and fiber, DSL, cable broadband services to residents of Bullock, Pike, Barbour and Macon counties in central Alabama. ?We began providing managed Internet services to USTC in 1997 and, as technology has changed, we?re proud to say that ZCorum has supported USTC and Com-Link in bringing advanced communication services to rural Alabama,? says Julie Compann, President and COO at ZCorum.

Under the terms of the agreement, ZCorum will continue to provide both companies hosted email, 24/7 technical support, commercial web hosting, end user internet security software and engineering consulting services. Additionally, Com-Link will continue to receive managed VoIP services and ZCorum?s TruVizion diagnostics application for cable modem networks. Com-Link and ZCorum both use TruVizion to troubleshoot and diagnose customer issues. The software also tracks modem, VoIP and CMTS performance and helps technicians determine whether a truck roll is needed and determine which technician and equipment should be sent to address the issue.

?The two things I like best about ZCorum the most are the level of customer service and engineering support we receive,? says John Fischer, Chief Operating Officer at USTC and Com-Link. ?We love the people we work with at ZCorum, from our business account manager, to the engineering and leadership teams. We get quality service and support from ZCorum at a fair price.?

?ZCorum?s engineers work side-by-side with the USTC and Com-Link staff to support their copper, fiber and cable networks. Our tech support representatives go the extra mile to make sure USTC and Com-Link customers are satisfied. The extension of our long partnership is a testament to the work all three companies have done as a team to deliver superior service to rural Alabama customers,? says Neal Grillot, Vice President of Operations at ZCorum.

ZCorum is giving live demonstrations of its TruVizion software as well as free consultations for managed broadband services this week at the Texas Communications Expo in Belton, Texas and next week at the American Cable Association Annual Summit in Washington, D.C.
